I think this is something that we all knew was coming but the timing is just so bad. I think that this happening on tax day is really precarious. With all the legislation that has been going through the senate as of late I figured they would wait until all of this was dead before they would act as they did.
To all of the people that I have gotten to know through online poker play I wish the best for you in your next adventure. I think that most of the poker players have the same or close to the same type of personality so there will always be "the next" new adventure. For now I will continue to check on your blogs and on 2+2 for updates and to keep in contact. I say "for now" because I am not sure how much poker talk I can take without being able to partake in the activity that I really enjoy doing.
I thought about attempting to play some live action but I truly don't know if my heart is into right now. Maybe in the coming weeks or days but just not today.

End of the Month Update
The end of the month is here and I am finally heading in a direction other than down. I took a break from MTTs since I was playing so horrible in them. I busted myself 5 straight days in idiotic moves. I started this week hitting the $5.50 PL o8 tourney, I have cashed it 3 straight days but since there isn't a very big turn out in this tourney even 20th place only pays $12 but hey its more than a min cash so I am happy.
Overall I finished the month at -$76.00. That's not too bad considering how bad I ran at the start of the month and that I was down $385.00 at one point.
April Goals: Continue to play the $1.40 STT KO on stars and mix in the $4.10 STT KO as bankroll allows. I am setting a table limit to 10 MAX. I seem to play my best at 8 but if I am running good I will jump up to 10 tables. I would like to be rolled by the end of the month to play the $6.50 STT KO. I think I am currently rolled to do so but one bad swing would hurt too much so I am just going to take it slow. I would also like to achieve top 10's in high orbits for both $1.40 and $4.10 but anywhere in the money would be great for each week.
Well that's all for now, see ya at the tables.

YEPPP its official I suck
After running so well in the beginning of the month playing sng's it all changed. All of a sudden I can't hit a 36 outer ever but yet when I bet an Ace high flush with a nice low hand and I get one outed on the river that beats not only my high hand but takes away my low.
I am giving up my pathetic chase for SN. I think i will still hit it by the end of the year but I am not going to push for it, at least for right now as I type this. I am sure this thought will change but for right now that's how I feel. My cash game has really been bad so I thought I could play enough winning sng's to win money and achieve nova with little problem. The only problem is at the level I play at I would have to play a lot of sng's to make this happen and you will see below why this is not going to happen. LMAO as I am typing this I go all in with a FH on a 223 board, idiot calls me with 7788 and guess what cardssss come next, if you thought 7 then 8 you would be correct and there I go out on the bubble again. FTW. So anyways below you will see why volume isnt working for me.
The games included in these results are $1.40, $4.10, and $6.75 STT KO
Playing 20+ tables= $-453.20
Playing 18 tables= $-230.20
Playing 14 tables= $-101.40
Playing 10 tables or less= $+568.50
Owell thats enough for now, see ya at the tables... maybe

Change of Plans
After a horrible Feb. I am forced to make some changes to me SN plans. Ultimately I want to get it by June but after losing 60% of my bank roll this is going to be a major uphill battle. At the start of the month I was a losing cash game player but a winning tourney player so it came out a wash but half way through the month I continued losing at the cash tables and tourneys. I cashed in quite a few but no major cashes. Starting March 2nd I began multi-tabling sng's. I have done very well with a ROI of close to 30% so I am going to ride this train as far as it will take me. I am also going to continue with MTT's so hopefully I can get a decent cash and get back into ring games.

Yippeeeee I made platinum
I made platinum tonight which is relieving but I am 2 days behind where I wanted to achieve it at. Overall things are going pretty well but the grind is very tough on a small bankroll. There are times when I get on a cooler and just can't afford to play 8+ tables so I play 2-4 to build some money back up. So other than trying to manage a mini br the month moves on as planned.
On a second note, I have a slight strain of some sort on my right side in my upper chest/shoulder region. It went away for a day or 2 but has come back with a vengeance. I am going to half to figure out a new configuration for my computer or maybe take some more breaks. OKKKK enough talking, back to the grind.

Week 2 Update and The perfect timing for a hand
Well week 2 is about over and over all its been a pretty good week. I caught up today on vpp's as I got a little behind at the beginning of the week. As far as bankroll going into today I was down close to $200 which is pretty significant to my bank roll but I placed first in the tourney shown below which put me up for the week. 20 more weeks like this one would do me just fine. Here's to dreaming!!!

Feb. week 1 update
The first week of my supernova chase started out very rocky. My bankroll was down 20% in the first 2 days. I took 2nd place in the 4.40 omaha hi/lo tourney so the payout for that helped plus I had 2 winning days in a row so I ended up even for the week. It would have been much nicer to start out on the upswing but I handled it well. I did not tilt at all this week.
I am upto 8,444 vpps on the year so far. I know some of you chuckle as you read that but it is what it is. I am right on track for where I want to be but I would like to get ahead of schedule. That's it for today see everyone at the tables.
